On behalf of everyone at Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary, I would like to convey our heartfelt thanks to all the kind people who have donated money, lovely food, treats and toys for our rescued animals over the Christmas period, making it special for them too. They all had an exciting time playing with their new toys and tucking into their special Christmas dinner with relish.

It is a heartbreaking fact that an increasing number of pets are unwanted, abused and abandoned all the year round, but Christmas is especially sad when it's a case of 'out with the old' and 'in with the new'.

Grateful thanks also to all our wonderful volunteers - dog walkers, cat cuddlers, homecheckers, and fundraisers that give up so much of their valuable time to help our rescues - and of course all the lovely people who have adopted our animals, especially those who have taken on desperate and special cases, irrespective of the way they look, however elderly, or whatever disability or behavioural problems they might have. We cannot thank these kind people enough for taking them into their homes and their hearts.

Holly Hedge Animal Sanctuary would not be such a happy 'half way house' if it wasn't for all our invaluable donators and supporters.
