Karam was brought to us from a rescue in Cairo, Egypt. Found as a young puppy on the streets being attacked by other dogs and abused by people. He is such a friendly boy who despite all he’s been through loves people but just needs the chance to get to know you first. He loved jogging with his fosterer and would benefit from an active home that could work on training but also could provide him the security he needs. He will need an experienced, quiet home  where he can be slowly introduced to new people, and someone with patience to understand what pain this boy has been through and to offer the help he needs to overcome his fears. Although he gets on well with most dogs, he will need socilaising and would prefer to live as an only dog. Due to his traumatic upbringing and his fight for survival, he does have issues around food and kitchen areas, and can be nervous of strangers. A quiet adults only home who can work on his socialisation and food issues whilst introducing him slowly to the outside world including cars and traffic would be ideal. His new owner would ideally have behaviour training or experience working with more difficult dogs particularly ex street dogs.
